Lug & Tapped Mounted Cylinders

Lug & Tapped Mounted Cylinders

1.5" to 12" Bore

HEAVY DUTY HYDRAULIC

Lug & tapped mounted cylinders are mounted to the bottom or side of the head or cap. Lug & tapped mounts must operate at lower pressure on large bore or long stroke cylinders. Thrust keys can help improve the strength of the mount. Consult our experts for more detail.

Lug & Tapped Mounted Cylinders

NFPA STYLE MS2

Side Lug Mount. A fixed mount with force transferred in a straight line. Force is not absorbed along the cylinder centreline. As with most side mount cylinders, MS2 mounts create a rotating moment, requiring a minimum stroke length equal to their bore size. Thrust keys should be used to improve mount strength.
